The Friends of REEEC fund supplements the efforts of REEEC not covered by grant or state funds, and benefits from the generosity of people like you, who share our commitment to understanding and promoting knowledge about Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia.

The Yaro Skalnik Fund, established by Professor Carol Leff (Emerita, Political Science) supports and recognizes student research, at both the graduate and undergraduate level. It supports our annual Yaro Skalnik Essay Prize (for best papers in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies) and also provides seed money for student research projects, travel, and conference presentation.

When contributing to REEEC online with a credit card, donors must first choose "Friends of REEEC", but may later add "Yaro Skalnik REEEC Fund" in the text box under "Friends of REEEC" on the payment page.
